June 23, 2004 is a momentous day in the history of Bengal and Indians in general as we
celebrate the 150th Birth Anniversary of this legendary architect Sir Rajen Mookerjee. Passersby
in Calcutta might just remember the statue of Sir Rajen in Italian marble placed in the backyards
of Victoria Memorial. This statue was unveiled by the then Governor General of Bengal in 1938, Lord Brabourne.
The figures of Mookerjees of Martin Burn stand brightly silhouted in the sundown of their business conglomerate. We (Mr Tarun Kumar Rana and Mr Kaushik Rana) pay our humble tribute and homage to these great men and hope our future generations will be inspired by them and make India a great industrial nation.
